Could you do a post about rinsing your hair with hot vs cold water? I always see the advice that you should do the final rinse of your hair with cold water to close the cuticles — but I suspect this is a myth, and I don’t want to take a cold shower if I don’t have to!!

I have very dry, damaged hair from coloring (and who knows what else I’m doing wrong), and I was told to try using coconut or almond oil as a mask. Now I understand why that’s not working! Do you have deep conditioner or mask recommendations for damaged hair?
